Helen Hyunbin Han was born in South Korea, but has lived most of her life in Austin and Irving, Texas. She attended Oklahoma City University and received her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre with a minor in Directing in 2018. Helen can speak fluent Korean, and would love to perform in Korean musicals one day. Besides singing and acting, she enjoys painting, collecting lipsticks, drinking kombucha, cooking pasta, reading, watching movies, and fostering dogs. She currently resides in Oklahoma City.
Helen has been singing since the age of 5, performing in various settings from church praise bands to community theatre musicals
and Texas All-State choirs. She is a classically trained singer and performs a wide range of repertoire including arias and art songs, contemporary musical theatre songs, and Pop/R&B/Jazz. She has also been playing the piano for many years, and has more recently been learning to play the guitar and ukulele. In addition, Helen has experience in ballet, jazz, and tap.
